Encouraging Young Women Throughout the Nation

Downs encourages young women across the country by speaking at Girls of Grace events nationwide. She is passionate about seeing young women find their true value in God and His love for them. She encourages young women to discover the practical ways they can use their lives to honor God and invites them to experience full, satisfying lives with a God who made them on purpose and loves them deeply.

From WestBow Press to Zondervan

Annie Downs self-published her book From Head to Foot with WestBow Press to make a difference in the lives of young readers. This led to a contract with traditional publisher Zondervan, which has given her a bigger platform and a greater opportunity to reach even more young women. From Head to Foot then became Perfectly Unique: Praising God from Head to Foot. In her book, Downs speaks to young women who are working through finding their identity. Downs proclaims, “You are who you are on purpose and we need to walk in that and serve in that.” 

Continuing with her passion to write and her mission to help young women, Downs has published two more titles:  Speak Love: Making Your Words Matter, as well as its companion devotional guide, and Let’s All Be Brave: Living Life with Everything You Have.
